Because of my online work, I have to be up until late at night… or even until the wee hours in the morning. Many times I wish I would have 8 or more hours of uninterrupted sleep, but most of time time I would get calls during daytime when I am enjoying a much-needed sleep.

I am aware of how important it is to get adequate hours of sleep. Since this year I am making it a goal to live a healthy lifestyle, I know I should do something about it. Less coffee, maybe? And oh, I would love to have a white noise maker so I could enjoy a good night’s rest!

Since last month, I have opened up to my husband that I wanted to buy a mountain bike. I want to bike around our neighborhood in pursuant to my goal of living a healthy lifestyle but he said, instead of a bike, I should get a stationary bike or a treadmill. He said that would be better because I will be safe inside the house.

Well, I couldn’t agree more but the problem is, a stationary bike or treadmill costs almost times ten of a mountain bike!! It could be a great investment if I could send it out for equipment lease but I am sure nobody wants to rent such.

So I still believe, a mountain bike is a more practical choice than the two.

I can’t remember the last time I ever rewarded myself with a gift. Perhaps it’s high time! Maybe I could call it a Christmas present for me, myself and I. I am proud to say that I have been working so hard, making both ends meet and I deserve some loving, don’t I?

Since I am having trouble with my eyes, I guess it’s just right that I protect them especially from fierce sunlight. Should I get myself ray ban sunglasses at nineapair? Should I go for a beauty make over at a spa somewhere? Should I go on a vacation alone? Hmmm, to be honest, I think I want them all!

If I were an IT professional, maybe I can work on Technical Recruiter Consultant Jobs from home in addition to what I am doing now.

Anyway, I think I can still learn a few. Not technically IT courses but some online teachings that can aide me in my online jobs. I want to improve myself in my online endeavors so that I can earn more for my family.

The appliances in the house, especially the air conditioning, computers and refrigerators are suffering much because there are also fluctuations.

And the worse is, work is interrupted! Imagine, if there is no electricity for 2 hours in the morning and another three hours in the evening, that is five hours of work lost!

How I wish I could have a honda generator here so that I can just have it switched on to give us stand by electricity. It is so hard!

It could be very tempting to shop online. Since I am always on the computer, I could not help but browse through product reviews every now and then. I personally think it is the best way to learn about a product. Costumers’ complaints and endorsements broaden our scope of choices and help us choose one that would work for us.

So what products do I usually look for online? Not so much for myself, really. I love surfing products for the kids and occasionally I would take a look at some techie stuff.

I wonder when my next online shopping spree would be? Speaking of shopping, school starts in a few days and the kids would need their school supplies soon. I should have that shopping list done now—and be careful to stick to it lest I be tempted to shop for things we don’t actually need. Not an easy thing to do, I tell you!

Its enrollment time again. For moms like me, you would know how difficult it would be to make a budget for three kids going to school. From schoolbags, uniforms to sets of pencils and pens… books, notebooks and new set of clothes… Not to mention of course the enrollment fees and the high cost of transportation. Of course there is still that worry about whether or not the kids would settle in ok in their new school or not.

Because of so many needs that have to be taken cared of daily, oftentimes we would forget that there are other equally important things that we need to spend money on. Actually the right term would be to “invest” on. Getting a term life insurance for example is a need. But how many people actually allot a portion of their income to get one? I don’t think there are that many.

I for one should consider getting one soon. Are you?

So we have officially transferred to my hometown a month ago. A major move out like that was extremely stressful as I had to load everything we had—from our biggest appliance to my little piggy bank. But greater challenges awaited us when we arrived Cagayan de Oro: arranging our things, problems with the internet connection, financial drain, the kids adjusting and all… to name only a few.

Honestly we are just starting to get settled, and here I am again, back to work. Hubby and the kids seem to adjust just fine. One time I posted a photo on Facebook of hubby and my son playing a game in the computer. I secretly took that photo behind their back. They were too busy to notice. One of my friends commented that our house looked like an internet café. Funny, it really does. Unknown to many, our house is actually more than just an office. Thanks to technology, I am able to have an online job—and my clients? They are from all over. Technology transcends distance—amazing, isn’t it? I wonder if we would expand into a big company – like have one of those document scanning software?

Like they say, “the journey to a thousand miles begins with a single step.”—So let’s just see how far this goes. Meantime, I’d like to dream we would go far.

In a few days the whole family and I, even our dogs and cats, are traveling on our way back home to my birthplace. I’m very much excited and apprehensive at the same time, not to mention frantic. I never imagined moving to be this hard, time-consuming and stressful. Or maybe it’s only because we’re traveling cross-city.

Anyway, in line with the impending move, I have decided to buy a few pieces of clothing for my kids. What I didn’t anticipate was that most of the clothes in stores these days are all meant for summer. I was still able to get some stuff for the kids but my son was asking him to buy a set of hip hop clothing. I actually don’t know why he needs it. It’s not like he’s going to need it anytime soon.

However, I still acquiesced only because I got to thinking that he might need it for school anyway. You know how most schools hold school programs that require students to perform complete with costumes? Well, should they have a need for that I’d volunteer my son to do a hip hop performance because he already has a costume!

I think it sucks if you have acne. No, I don’t mean to demean those who have. But I know that it can be both painful and uncomfortable on the skin, as well as painful to on one’s self esteem.

That is because our world puts so much emphasis on having a clear, flawless complexion. The TV commercials show young women who are screaming their hearts out and having nightmares whenever they have a singular red bump on their face.

I think that is absurd. Having a pimple does not make you any less of a person. Gee, I really don’t know how to undo the stigma that pimples and acne have on our society and our young people. But at least I can teach my kids about it.

Acne is such a big thing that we have medications like Acnepril that are more than just skin deep. These are oral medications treat the acne at its source. As for its safety, I think Acnepril is relatively safe because it is prescribed. But well, if acne can be cured by surface medications, then I think that is safer than taking oral meds.
