Are you looking for one of the Lodging Jobs available in your area? Is there any available? You see, you have to know where to look to be able to find. Without the internet, if you have exhausted your area and have not found any, you have to go to places where there are several hotels or transient houses almost one after the other. What better places to look into than travel destinations? In the Philippines, Baguio City, being the summer capital of the country, has so many hotels and transient homes. It will be easier to find one there than in an unknown area if you happen to live in one.

When the world became too populated and polluted, safe drinking water became scarce too. So man invented ways to purify water so that all of us will have water that is safe to drink even from our own homes. Then later people invented flavored water and some healthy water like pi water.

Now, some people also have water softener systems installed at home so that they can save time and money. In the US, water softeners are known to prevent scale, staining, appliance damage, and dry skin caused by hard water. So installing one will make you save more from damage caused by hard water on appliances and even on your skin!

Whatever the case may be, all I can say is that we people should think of ways to lessen the pollution we make so that safe drinking water will be self-sustaining for everyone. We need also to act more in preventing rather on curing our water problems.

Aside from the colorful street dancers of the Masskara Festival, the La Carlota Drum Beaters also followed. They were not entering the street competition but they were playing their stainless steel barrels for a certain company’s float.

Anyway, I just remembered the La Carlota Drum Beaters because a few days ago I saw my son playing drums on whatever beats. He seemed to be amused. It made me think that maybe he remembered the parade he saw in Bacolod.

Last March 2011, I ordered 100 pieces of business cards from a friend. After a few months and attending some blogger events, I am down to a few pieces already. Aside from that, I have changed one of my mobile numbers and even the contact email I use.

Now, I have plans of ordering again. I contacted my friend, but he said he could no longer retrieve the file of the design he made for me before. So, I scour my files and looked for the final design he submitted to me before. After a few minutes of searching, I am so glad I found it. I submitted it to him to copy again and to edit my contact information once more.

I am really excited to get my orders again. There are a lot of blogging events I intent to join so having a business card is a must for me. I want to expand my network very much since I am fairly new here in Cagayan de Oro City. Well, I am from here but what I meant was I am new in our city’s blogging network. Not only here in our city, but of the entire Mindanao.

So, to all my readers who are bloggers, do you give importance in having a business card? If you don’t have one now, do you intend to order? Share your ideas.

When you love somebody, it is but natural to want to give him or her the best that you could find. If you have a lover, you constantly look for unique boyfriend gifts to give so that they will be pleased.

While some may say that this notion is materialistic, I think that the saying, “It is possible to give without loving, but it is impossible to love without giving” is so true. I mean, if you say and feel that you love somebody, it is not enough to just say it or feel it. You express it, right? So you give of yourself, like your time and effort, and you also give gifts. That is part of loving. And it is not just the feeling.

Many people, especially the older set, have bought RVs so that they can drive around the states even for several days one way in order to see the countryside. Sometimes, it would take five days for them to get to their destination. But stopping on the road and sleeping in your RV is part of the fun.

Sometimes, despite the preparations, there are just instances when your RV breaks down in the middle of your journey. So before leaving on your long trip, make sure that your cellphone batteries are full and you have saved the number of the RV towing service so that you can easily make that call in case you need help.

And well, His victory over the cross is just worth praising. The kids would enjoy the Easter egg hunts organized by their Sunday school. The adults sometimes would have Easter sweets like cookies shaped like bunnies.

But I did not know that some people give away personalized Easter gifts. I am not sure what these are, maybe baked goodies and stuff. Oh well, I have not heard of people in our community doing that. But it would be a nice tradition to start, no? I mean gifts are always appreciated, so why not give one during Easter?

Special stones fascinate me. I for one is named after a special stone, Ruby. I am one of those who are named after their birthstones. Precious stones are not sold in ordinary stores so most often than not, we don’t have to actually see them. Thanks to books and photos, we get to see how they look like, enjoy their colors and properties and even learn where they come from or discovered.

Tanzanite is one rare stone that was discovered in Tanzania. If exposed to extreme heat of 600 degrees Celsius, this reddish brown stone transforms into a beautiful blue-violet gem. No, actually it can display three alternating colors of sapphire blue, violet and burgundy depending on crystal orientation. I’d have to say I so love these colors! Rarely do you see all beautiful colors in one single gem.

I am totally fine with ruby, but to have a tanzanite jewelry sure is something to wish for!

A strand of gray hair may worry some people as it would mean that they are ageing. I mean we all are growing old, but sometimes a sight of a gray hair would make it more real, making others freak out. For some people, though, they would see a strand of gray hair means we are growing old, alright… but there are things that come with it, like wisdom and authority. Being older than others, you will get that chance to be listened to or asked advice from. Now that’s great, eh? I think everyone wants that. So that’s one good thing about being older.

However, we could also have unwanted pains in the back, limbs, neck – all over! And those cracks you hear when you stretch in the morning could be scary too! You would always have to carry your medicines for arthritis pain relief wherever you go. Now, this we do not like, right?

But I guess it’s a fact that in everything there will always be a trade-off. I guess we will have to live with that. Another fact? We cannot escape from getting old. We are getting there. So sooner or later we will have to love a bunch of gray hair on our heads. Wear that gray hair with a smile and let’s say “cheers” to growing old gracefully!

One of the things I want to try but haven’t yet is to ride an ATV or an All Terrain Vehicle. Here, riding it is already considered an extreme activity. Normally, only men ride ATVs but I have seen women who can effortlessly drive one. I want to be just like them.

I’m actually trying to look for a place here which rents out ATVs because I really want to try it. ATV riding will surely be a wonderful bonding activity for the whole family, don’t you think? I just hope that if I do get to find a place, they have safety gears for their customers.

They should at least have protective gears, helmets and gloves from Polaris Accessories to ensure that customers who rent out their ATVs won’t have any cause for concern. With the right accessories, people can still feel safe and secure even if the activity they’re engaging in is a tad risky.
