Women Wearing Ties

Do you like women wearing ties? Well, as for me, sometimes I find it cool and sexy depending how they are using it. Before, back in college, I wear designer ties not as a tie but as a belt. I find ties to be more fashionable wearing them on my waist rather on my neck. There were also times, where some of my schoolmates wear ties with colorful t-shirts. They wear ties as accessories like necklaces.

Anyway, how about you? Are you fond of wearing ties?

Staying at Home

Most mothers want to stay at home with their children. They want to be there for every milestone their children experience. But because of the economic crisis more and more mothers are forced to work outside and leave their children to strangers in which some of them physically abuse what were entrusted to them.

And because of this, some mothers opted to stay at home and be with the children while running their own home based business. Some sew clothes and sell them online, some write and become ghost writers at websites, some blog for a pay and many other ways.

As for me, I am one of those lucky mothers who are able to stay at home and earn online. I get to be with my children 24/7 and never worry of anything that I couldn’t see with my kids.

The Reality of HDTV in Our Place

I think almost everybody wants to own an HDTV. About last year, I really wanted to have one. So last April 2010, my husband and I purchased one through installment. At first we were really excited but in the long run, we were quite disappointed. Little did we know that HDTV are only good if you use high definition DVDs and that your TV signal is also in HD but if not, you will see a lot of pixel while watching movies and haze when watching TV.

In the US, HDTV is great because they have HD cable and satellite TV but here in our place, we don’t have much of HD signals because most of our channel run on mono signal.

Outdoor Furniture

My husband is really an alcoholic drinker. Every week, he always drinks. He doesn’t call himself a drunkard because he said it doesn’t happen every day. But I told him it is still the same, much worst, he doesn’t come home. So I tried explaining to him that it is important for him to come home no matter what.

Just the other day while he was standing in our veranda, he told me it would be nice if we had outdoor furniture at our front yard. He said it would be nice if there is an outdoor furniture at our front yard because he will make it a place for him to drink with his friends. He said that will lessen his urges to drink and leave home. He said he will have his own place to unwind.

So, I immediately replied to him, if we have an outdoor furniture, it would be for the kids to play around and rest. Not for drinking beer! Then, he just kept quite.

They Need a Sober Dad

For the past few weeks, I have been in a lot of stress. Not because of my work or my children but because of my husband. He has been the source of my stress lately. Well, not literally him but his drinking habit. When he is drunk, he is not himself and he acts weirdly.

Anyway, I just hope my husband will change. If not, I will be buying a prototype 37c every month just to counter all the wrinkles he is going to contribute to me because of stress. Kidding aside, I hope he change, not for my benefit but for the children. Our kiddos need a better father, a sober dad that will lead them to goodness in life!

Credit Card Processing

When I started my blog hosting services, I was very apprehensive on accepting credit cards as a mode of payment because having one means I needed to have a merchants account from credit card companies which is very expensive for me as of the moment. But luckily I found out that Paypal can also take care of your credit card processing. They have a feature that would allow customers to pay you with their credit cards using Paypal.

Now, I am proudly putting the logos of known credit card companies at my blog hosting site. This site now accepts credit card payments!!

Alice in Wonderland (2010)

I watched Alice in Wonderland earlier this month. I was expecting a remake of the old Alice in Wonderland story but I was wrong. It was another version of Alice who is already 19 years old and visiting Wonderland for the second time to fulfill her destiny as their champion.

Anyway, some characters were still there including the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the caterpillar who looks like smoking cao cigars because of his classy look and of course the “Eat Me” and “Drink Me” delicacies of Wonderland.

The movie was quite gloomy because Wonderland is no longer colorful since the Red Queen came to power but the entirety of it was OK for me and my children though my husband fell asleep at the last part.

Oh well, how about you? Have you seen the movie yet? Did you enjoy it?

House Designs

Every time I watch Hollywood movies, I can’t help but to be amazed with the houses shown. I love how wooden houses are built especially with Victorian designs.

Anyway, most houses in the US have exterior shutters which help protect the occupants from the coldness of the winter season. Aside from that, it gives added outdoor beauty. Here in our place, we rarely see that kind of style because we belong to one of many tropical islands here in Asia.

That is also the reason why that no matter how I love the house designs in the US, I couldn’t have them here because of the difference with our weather conditions. So, it either I go and move in the US to have the home I want or change my preferences in home designs! LOL!

Life is Better than Money

Every time my husband and I have a discussion over life insurance, he would always say that I will have no problems if he dies. He said I and the children would benefit from the life insurance wholesale policy bought by their company to all of their employees.

So, I told my husband that it would be better if he could take care of himself at work and drink no more because the children and I wants him alive than the money we will get if he does. Having a complete family is much more greater bliss than having money and missing someone. After hearing that, he just smiled.

Anyway, I am just hoping that God would give my husband the strength to stop drinking and live a healthy life. I am sure he can perform better at work when healthy and live a longer life. I can’t imagine what life would be without him.
