House Designs

Every time I watch Hollywood movies, I can’t help but to be amazed with the houses shown. I love how wooden houses are built especially with Victorian designs.

Anyway, most houses in the US have exterior shutters which help protect the occupants from the coldness of the winter season. Aside from that, it gives added outdoor beauty. Here in our place, we rarely see that kind of style because we belong to one of many tropical islands here in Asia.

That is also the reason why that no matter how I love the house designs in the US, I couldn’t have them here because of the difference with our weather conditions. So, it either I go and move in the US to have the home I want or change my preferences in home designs! LOL!

Life is Better than Money

Every time my husband and I have a discussion over life insurance, he would always say that I will have no problems if he dies. He said I and the children would benefit from the life insurance wholesale policy bought by their company to all of their employees.

So, I told my husband that it would be better if he could take care of himself at work and drink no more because the children and I wants him alive than the money we will get if he does. Having a complete family is much more greater bliss than having money and missing someone. After hearing that, he just smiled.

Anyway, I am just hoping that God would give my husband the strength to stop drinking and live a healthy life. I am sure he can perform better at work when healthy and live a longer life. I can’t imagine what life would be without him.

Thank God for a Healthy Baby

When I was pregnant with Bella, we were not really that financially well funded. We go about our life, one day at a time, week after week, month after month. There were times that we were able to buy prenatal vitamins and milk and there are times we couldn’t. Another sad part was when I learn I had UTI while I was pregnant. I have to take antibiotics to make sure the baby will not get affected by the infection.

By God’s grace, Bella was born health and normal. She weights 3.5 kilos and a very active baby. Now, she is almost 4 months old and is developing into a healthy and smart baby! Thank God!

No Perfect Place

I won’t go over emo on this but I was really shocked. I just found out that some people in the US are having a hard time getting on with their disability appeal. I just though highly of the US systems and never doubted that there would be hard ups for them. I only though that such matter only exists here in our place.

Anyway, all I can conclude on the matter is that imperfectness exists everywhere. There is no such thing as a perfect life in a perfect place. So, wherever we are, it all depends on how we react on circumstances not because of places.

The Good Samaritan

When I saw www.goodsamvip.com, I thought of the story I used to teach in Sunday School. (Yup, I used to teach in Sunday School when I was still single and that was about 10 years ago.) The story was about a Good Samaritan who took care of a Jewish man who got robbed in the streets and left almost dead. The special fact about this story is that Jewish people don’t life Samaritans but in turn, the one who was detested was the one who took care of the Jewish man.

The website of www.goodsamvip.com is like the Good Samaritan in some ways because they will be a great help when you are having problems with your car or RV while in the middle of the road. They can respond to your call for help anywhere in the US roads.

Anyway, I just admire the cool analogy. LOL!
