RFID Wallet

Posted by admin . Filed under Gadgets and Technology | No Comments

Most ATM and credit cards nowadays have an RFID chip on it. This is the golden chip embedded on your card. RFID is an acronym of Radio-frequency Identification. According to Wikipedia, radio-frequency identification (RFID) is the use of an object (typically referred to as an RFID tag) applied to or incorporated into a product, animal, or person for the purpose of identification and tracking using radio waves. Some tags can be read from several meters away and beyond the line of sight of the reader.

And because the data can sometimes be read several meters away, most opportunist identity theft with RFID readers will try to get these important data. That is why owning an RFID wallet is a must nowadays. An RFID wallet could protect the data of your credit cards and can help prevent future problems related to identity theft.

As for me, a very unsuspecting mom is planning to own one someday. I want to own this to protect my family’s finances. I don’t want to end up having bills to pay that I didn’t charge or use.
