Dreaming of a Home Theater

Have you ever dreamed of having a home theater at your home? Well, I always do! I mean if my financial resources allow it, why not right? Watching and listening to movies is a great way to spend time with people you love, especially us since my husband, my children and I are really fond of it.

Anyway, if that dream might someday come true, I would love to have a plasma TV for movie viewing and a Dolby Digital surround capable music player for my listening pleasure. Very expensive stuffs I should say but maybe if the right time comes, I can buy affordable and quality ones. Don’t you think?

Wonky Internet Connection

Ever since we have transferred to our new place, I am having the wonkiest internet connection ever! I could not connect to the internet uninterruptedly just like before. I always get a connection timed out almost all the time during day time; thus forcing me to live a life of a night owl. Around 12mn to 6am, I get to access the internet smoothly but when 6am to 12mn comes, I get a bad connection!!

Because I live during the night, I can’t help but need an acne treatment! Staying up late gives me acne and eyebags! How deteriorating this kind of lifestyle can be?!

Grrr…I now officially my internet service provider!!

In my last post, I have talked about the advantages and disadvantages of being a stay at home mom. I have not discussed all but I have pointed out some that have affected me as a mom at home.

Anyway, though there are certain disadvantages of being at home, I am more convenient with it. Being with my kids and monitoring them as they grow up is very much fulfilling. As for the monetary needs, well, a mom can always adjust to it and if she is smart, she can always look for ways to earn more, like what I did!

Advantages and Disadvantages of a Stay at Home Mom

Being a stay at home mommy is a real bliss. You get to enjoy your own time and be around your children almost 24 hours a day. You can work when you want it and you can sleep or rest if you want it. You have no boss and you are not time bounded. But of course, there are some perks that you couldn’t enjoy such as bonuses, loan eligibility and even human resource assistance to take care of your insurance needs.

As for me, I wanted to take care of my future too. I don’t want to depend on my husband since his insurances are not enough to cover for his own future needs too. So, I am planning to get one for myself too maybe an affordable pension plan and a low cost health insurance policy. The only problem is, my income is only enough for our daily needs. I can’t even afford to upgrade my desktop computer which is my only capital to work from home.

Anyway, I am planning to organize things somebody but as for now. I need to just go with the flow. I am currently pregnant and I don’t want to stress myself thinking of the future when I have present problems and needs. Right?!

Public Speaking Anxiety

In the past few months, I was able to engage on some events that require me to speak publicly. Just to be exact, there were two occasions and both were held in the month of July. It’s been awhile since I talk in front of many people. I think that is the reason why I am getting public speaking anxiety again.

Anyway, I am hoping that in due time this will vanish. I guess if I am required to speak more in the future, it will gradually disappear. What do you think? How about you, do you have public speaking anxiety too?
