Happy About Last Week
I am so happy about how things turned out. Last Wednesday, my husband auditioned for their company’s anniversary singing contest with his partner whom I dreaded him having (remember my post on I am damn jealous?). Gladly, he won the male part but the girl didn’t, another won the female part. When I heard about it, I was “oh, so glad” about it.
When Saturday came, my husband brought us to their singing practice so that I will met his singing partner. Indeed she has a good voice and beautiful but quite chubby. She is the wife of the resident production manager of the company where my husband and the girl worked (totally big time rich!).
Anyway, I was just happy about everything. My husband won the male part which means that he is assured to bring home the consolation prize of ten thousand. That is a great help for us especially we have our third baby coming. Aside from that, my husband has a new singing partner that I am comfortable with. Alas my ranging hormones will now calm down. LOL!!
Updates Here and There!
Another week is almost over and I am not excited. My weekdays and weekends have been the same ever since I got pregnant. I sleep, I eat and I rest and most of the time talking to myself. Since I can’t play with my son that often because I easily tire or having tummy pains, I usually find myself in bed and my son playing with my PC or coloring his books. When my hubby is around, both of them play while he condemns me to rest and rest because I am utterly useless. Gesh! What a life!
Anyway, I tried to update my blogs and do some blog hopping. Then, I noticed that most bloggers have been posting about Zenni Optical being featured at the New York Times. And then I said, Zenni Optical in the New York Times?! That is totally cool! So, I checked out just to validate the article the New York Times published, Seeing Straight Without Breaking Bank. Indeed, they were talking about prescription eyeglasses for only $8! And who else provides such cheap and affordable price? Of course, no other than Zenni Optical!
Oh well, I guess affordable items are the ones that sells like hotcakes nowadays. How I wish my life will get a little more exciting like Zenni Optical. They have been featured almost everywhere. Well, I don’t want to get featured, I just want some excitement.
What Happened Over the Weekend?
Just last week, I was having a hard time withdrawing my money from my Smart Money ATM. It always cancels my transaction and would not allow me to withdraw. As I tried again and again, I just thought it was only a system problem. So, I went to a money exchanger and paid a small fee to transfer the amount from my Smart Money to my Unionbank EON Account.
Then last Friday, I needed to exchange my online income from dollars to pesos. Unfortunately, Unionbank was having a system problem. So the money exchanger couldn’t send it to me, he suggested that he will send it to my Smart Money. Since I had no choice, I said YES!!
Then before trying to withdraw, I called Smart Money’s toll free number to report my withdrawing problems. Then the service representative checked my problem for almost 5 minutes and found out that my Smart Money was not yet activated. Gesh! I was so lame. I thought that my account was already activated when I called them the time when I was able to get hold of my card.
Anyway, I was able to withdraw my online income. My hubby, my baby boy and I went to the mall. My boys played at Worlds of Fun while me and our house help watch Janet Basco performed musical medleys. Afterwards, we ate at McDonalds which indeed disappointed my husband because the Big Mac in reality looks like a Small Mac. We were able to eat burgers only because they ran out of rice. What a bummer! I went home utterly disappointed. My hubby and I were not able to spend time by ourselves because they all played until closing hours. Oh well, that’s life!
How did your Valentine’s Day go?
I am DAMN Jealous!!
I don’t want to blog about this but I have no one to tell my deepest hurts and fears. I am all alone in my room and my friends are far beyond reach as of the moment.
Anyway, my hubby is planning to audition to their company’s singing duet contest. At first, he said he is not that interested but he will audition for the sake of his boss and the consolation prize of Php 10,000 per contestant per pair. Then I said OK, I am fine with that. But lately, I saw that he was so very interested. He even brought my Altec Liansing Speakers to their office just for that. He said he is going to “show-off.” Argh!!
Oh well, I don’t mind him singing with somebody else but I was not expecting that he will be singing with this particular girl from work. Though she is already married, she has been rumored to have been involved in another affair with my husband’s workmate. Well, I would not be scared if my husband’s workmate is still around, I don’t care since it’s their business not mine. BUT, the problem is, the man is no longer around and I could not bear the fact that my husband will be singing a love song with her.
Gesh! Talk about fear and frustration! Fine, my husband told me that I should not be jealous because he loves me very much. Heller!! I thought LOVE was an action word, why I couldn’t see any tangible manifestation of the so-called LOVE?? Aside from that, he said he wanted to join very much because the prize money is big enough to save for me and the baby. Talk about Indecent Proposal scenario, because you need money, you are willing to gamble the emotion of your partner!
I am just a little jealous right now! I don’t want to think bad thoughts or assume otherwise. I hope my husband will be stronger in resisting office romance. Grrr….what a frustrating day!
Valentine Gift for Hubby
Valentine’s Day will be on Saturday but I have no problem in getting hubby his present. I already have done last week. I have bought him a red hotdog pillow that he can use whenever he goes to work. Since they have their own service, he can sleep throughout the one travel from the city to the plant.

Anyway, I was hoping I could buy him a watch. His old one got broken so I thought he would love to have something like an Audemars Piguet watch but unfortunately my income would not allow me to do so. Maybe next year when the tides will turn, I will be able to afford one.
