Migration Plans
Saturday, February 28th, 2009
Good thing about living in a tropical island is that we only have two seasons: wet and dry. When its wet season, we only have to work about keeping our rooms comfortable because though it may be cold outside, the room is warm. But when it’s hot, we only need to turn-on the air conditioning unit a little longer than the usual days.
Of course, I also wanted to experience spring, autumn and especially winter. That is the reason why I always dreamed of having a family vacation in the US or maybe migrate in Canada. I know it can be possible in a few years. How I wished to experienced All Year Cooling and Heating of our own home and also playing with snow.
Anyway, we were planning about it for a long time now but since my husband needs more experience from local work to become eligible for migration in Canada. Besides, I am also pregnant and we need the children grow a little more for easier adjustment in a new environment (just in case, LOL!).
Healthcare and Issues
Friday, February 27th, 2009
Since I have been having all sorts of health issues, whenever I get to be online, I tried to search alternative way to Cures for Ailments such as vitamins and minerals that can prevent specific sicknesses or herbal medicines. Being sick and weak makes me incapable of doing many things, if I felt pain; I just go and lay in my bed. I just watch my son while I’m bed and missing out a lot of time being together talking and learning.
In my searching, I was able to come across some notes about a well-known healthcare executive in California, Daniel Neumeister, has extensive experience in both VP and CEO capacities. He has written a lot of commentaries about the healthcare system in the US. For more inputs on cures for ailments and other health-related concerns, head over to the profile page of Dan Neumeister, a well-known healthcare executive in California. You can also find another profile of Dan Neumeister here.
Anyway, I guess our country has nothing so different at all. Healthcare system is somewhat pose a big problem. That is why I kept on thinking about my health issues; I need to be strong not only for my family and my babies but also the financial problems that may impact them.
DSL Services
Thursday, February 26th, 2009
Last year before I went home to my hometown, we had DSL Services with our internet connection. It was a bundle package with our phone. It was fast when it comes to downloading and internet surfing but unfortunately, when they are down, they are down more than 24 hours. It was very frustrating.
When I came back here to join my husband, we have installed a wireless broadband. It’s really nice when you are browsing during non-peak hours but when evening came, my online life sucks. It’s so slow and sometimes downloads can take up to an hour or more.
My friends in the US are luckier. They companies like Spectrotel. It’s really awesome how their services are being rendered and how they try their very best to satisfy their customers. They even give-out promos and great deals to their customers. If you want to know more about cheap VOIP comparisons as well as DSL services, check out the offers from Spectrotel. Find more information about Spectrotel company here.
Anyway, how I wish we will have one here too. But I guess only time could tell, maybe since internet is new for public consumption here, it will improve in due time and offer great services and deals like Spectrotel.
Need Suggestions, Anyone?
Thursday, February 26th, 2009As I mentioned before my husband has gotten the part to sing for the male part for their company’s anniversary. He and one female employee are representing their plant.
Anyway, they have been practicing for a week now and it seems this year they have gotten all the support. A vocal coach was hired to teach them and even meal allowances were given each time they have a practice.
But they have one problem; they have no CD that has no vocals in it. The only thing they have is an original version. My husband and I tried downloading free software that has vocal removers but unfortunately it only suppressed the vocals. Even if I buy the best discount noise canceling headphones, I can still end up hearing the suppressed vocals of the singer. Well, I guess it’s the only lousy thing you get when you try free software.
Oh well, I hope we could find someone who can help us remove the vocals or an affordable software that can successfully do it. Recommendations, anyone?
Calm Down? Not!
Wednesday, February 25th, 2009Just yesterday, I posted that my hormones will “now” calm down. Unfortunately, it didn’t! I snapped last night because my hubby went home late from their singing practice. While waiting, hideous memories from our past kept pounding inside my head and because of that, it made me think of bad things. I really hate it when this thing happens! I want to forget our horrid past! Grrrr….
Anyway, if things were financially OK right now, I think going on some local cruises to some of our known tourist destinations would be great for me. Being in serene and beautiful places like Boracay Island might surely calm these raging emotions in me!
