In my other blog, I was thinking of getting a wall-mounted lighting fixture. It’s not that I needed a room beautification but I needed it to get my baby boy to sleep early. He doesn’t sleep if the lights are on. He also requires that his favorite song be played on my WinAmp.

Anyway, I am planning to get a table lamp instead. If I get a wall-mounted lighting fixture, it would be a waste of money. We are only renting and if we move-out; it would be very bad of us to remove it from their wall. We will be leaving it scarred and that would not be nice.

Hays…I guess these are the decisions you make when you are just renting. I really hope that we could have our own house someday!

Zelch! Nada! Nothing!

I bought this domain last April 2008. Since then, this blog never had a green bar. Many updates have passed but not even a small green line came up. I don’t know what is the matter with this blog. I felt that maybe the green bar giver doesn’t like this blog at all.

This was a money making blog before but I thought it might be the reason. So I changed the theme into my emotional dwelling place. But guess what?! My new money making blog got a little green bar of one but this one got nothing. Zelch! Nada! Nothing! What do you think is wrong??

Anyway, I changed the theme of this blog just last month. So maybe it will gain new grounds on the next update. I am hoping it will be a fruitful one, if not, well I guess I need to “emote” a bit more in this blog.

2008: The Melamine Contaminated Milk

Last year was one of those times that many people grieve the loss of many babies and children. It was the time that the milk from China was discovered to have contain a dangerous chemical called melamine. Because of this shocking news, most people have avoided China products all together fearing that they might get poisoned or much worst, die from it.

Then a few weeks later after the discovery, an email circulated that you can tell products which ones are from China by reading a certain set of codes. They vertical lines with number translations at the bottom part which can be found in almost every product in the market. These codes are called barcodes. When you buy at the grocery stores, barcode scanners are used to get the product detail and price.

Anyway, thought the email hold true that barcodes really reveal products from which country they are from but it does not say where it was made. This means that milk produced in China but repacked in Singapore would reveal a different set of barcode. This certain milk product will have a barcode showing Singapore as its source. This also means that barcodes does not guarantee that products purchased are really from the country you are expecting it to be from.

So, how to avoid products that might be contaminated? Simple, just don’t buy processed food! I know that would be hard but to be honest processed food are unhealthy. They might be made “not” in China but because they are full of nitrates, they are bound to kill us one way or the other.

Patio Furnitures

As a mother and wife living with her family inside a room surrounded with other people, yes…I long to have my own home! Not just a house but a place wherein you can really relax and have fun with the whole family. I don’t mind having a regular sized house but I would definitely love to have a spacious lawn surrounded with beautiful patio furniture. This would be great for an outdoor family fellowship!

My First Emote 101 for 2009

It’s already 2009 and I am posting my first emoting post this year. Anyway, nothing is new actually. Every December holiday that passed by since my husband and I got back together was no where the word “OK.” It was not always the best and it seems it’s getting worse every year.

Last year he slept the whole time because he got drank before that time and now, he is outside drinking and enjoying the fireworks. I went outside to be with him but he told me to stay inside with our son. OK, I get it…that one has good intentions. But a little later, he came by our room and told my son to go out so that he can watch the fireworks. Guess what?! I was left alone inside our room for about half an hour. He didn’t even invite me while they were merry outside!!

I don’t know how to feel about it since prior to the New Year, he was trying to be nice and all. You can see by the look of his face that he wants to be nice and he is up to something. He tried to do things that are unusual which only happens when he wants something in return.

Anyway, it’s a new year and I am hoping for a brighter and happier marriage. It seems hopeless right now but I am still stubbornly waiting for a miracle to happen. Just want to be set free from this hurt!
