Cautiousness and Prayer

My hubby is working in a geothermal plant. He is in charge of the work planning and scheduling of their department. Though he is assigned much on paper works, he also does much field work at their plant. He shows the technicians how to do about their work. He also troubleshoots when there are problems that the technicians or operators couldn’t handle.

If he is in the office, there is nothing much to worry about. But when he is at the field, there are many things that might happen. If something went wrong with machines and gadgets in the plant, accidents are likely be the outcome. When he was still starting out with his job, I was always worried every time he goes to the field. So that I would stop worrying, he always assured me that their plant is equipped with the latest safety equipments. He also told me that all employees were trained accordingly with necessary safety measures.

Well, I guess he is right. They are really indeed a high technology plant and so as how they deal with safety but I have this concept that machines, even how perfect it is, if human errors occur, unexpected disaster might strike the plant. Machines work accordingly but sometimes if humans are careless, you can say good bye to technology.

So, I told him, it’s better to be careful always and to pray; having the Almighty as a guide, protector and wisdom provider always do wonders at work.
